“Real vibrancy” to Northern Ireland tech sector
“There is a real vibrancy to the sector here.
“Since our company formed in 2015, we have been able to successfully develop and commercialise our product for global markets.
“Innovation has been central to our success so far and the new Belfast hub will primarily focus on the development of our apps and ensure our continued growth.
“We have been really impressed by the talent we have found here and are certain that Northern Ireland is the perfect place to drive our business forward,” he adds.
Northern Ireland tech jobs include marketing, engineering and sales
Job opportunities include roles in product development, engineering, customer support, marketing and sales.
Invest NI has offered the company £150,000 to support the creation of the 54 new jobs by 2022.
Nearly half of the roles are already in place.
Welcoming the company’s investment, Kevin Holland, CEO Invest Northern Ireland said, “Invest NI has worked closely with ScreenCloud to secure this investment, by facilitating visits to Belfast to meet with investors, recruitment consultants and our two universities, as well as providing support towards the new jobs.
Half the roles already in place
“The fact that the company has been able to get the team up and running quickly with nearly half the roles in place, reaffirms our position as Europe’s leading FDI destination for new software development projects.
“These are professional roles with well-paid salaries and, once all are in place, will contribute over £2million in additional annual salaries to the Northern Ireland economy.
Kevin adds, “This is especially positive as we work to rebuild our economy following the impact of COVID-19.”
At present, all ScreenCloud employees across the organisation are working from home.
Any new employees recruited during the current situation will be on-boarded remotely and work from home.
